LilyPond:

Designed to facilitate the creation of high-quality musical scores, LilyPond allows composers to produce aesthetically pleasing compositions using its TeX-like language. Despite its complexity, the ability to create musical scores using LilyPond is intriguing, with various integrations available, including the insertion of sound snippets into MediaWiki pages.
