Syria and Norway Strengthen Immigration Cooperation in Oslo Talks

In Oslo, officials from Syria and Norway convened to discuss immigration-related issues, focusing on the Syrian community residing in Norway. The meeting, which highlighted the importance of bilateral cooperation, was attended by Nahla Othman, director of the Expatriates and Refugees Department at Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, and Snorre Sæther, director general of the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration.

The discussions centered on enhancing the immigration processes and procedures that affect Syrians living in Norway. Both parties expressed a commitment to strengthen their coordination efforts, aiming to address the various challenges faced by the Syrian expatriates in the country.
